STREETZ UPDATE

2020-2021 SEASON

With the new season ahead of us, Streetz is aware of the ever-changing environment for the coming year. We are aware that everyone is trying to make plans for the future and with things constantly shifting it proves difficulty to do so. Your health and safety is of the utmost importance. We have been working diligently with all of our hotels and convention centers to come up with the safest possible experience for all of our clients and also for the Streetz staff and faculty. 

Our goal for this coming season is clear. We are going to be holding all 3 DAY events, GUARANTEED (NO VIRTUAL OPTION FOR 1 DAY EVENTS). Here’s how it will work:

 PLAN A: IN-PERSON

Streetz will be planning all events, in-person, for the upcoming season. We will be limiting attendance and working with our venue partners to ensure a safe environment. Streetz Health and Safety Protocols can be found here:

 PLAN B: IN-PERSON AND VIRTUAL

We understand that some studios and families might not feel comfortable attending the in-person workshop. All of the 3 DAY in-person events will have a virtual option.This allows a dancer or studio to take class from home or at the studio (at the discounted virtual fee). This option will also allow the dancers or studios attending the virtual workshop to still come to the venue for the competition portion of the event. To ensure the best virtual experience, dancers registering for the virtual portion will receive the same number of classes as the in-person event by pre-recorded instructional videos.

 PLAN C: VIRTUAL

If the 3 DAY in-person event is unable to be held, studios and dancers may choose to attend the event virtually (for a discounted rate). Streetz will host an interactive Zoom event, specific to attendees of the event and city. Dancers can take the workshop classes at home or the studio may organize a group learning experience at their studio. Competition routines will be uploaded to Streetz by provided upload link and judged virtually. Awards ceremonies will be broadcast live when all routines have been scored.

Receive a full refund within 10-15 business days post event. If you choose to pay with a credit card, there will be a credit card processing fee of 3% deducted from your total refund. If you choose to pay with a check, there will be no processing fee deducted and you will receive your full total paid.

REFUND AND PAYMENT POLICY

 

Due to the current climate, here is a clear payment and refund policy. Your studio and families can be confident and secure when registering for Streetz.

 

REFUND POLICY FOR THE 2020-2021 SEASON: If an in-person event is unable to be held on the originally advertised dates, and the studio decides not to attend the event virtually, Streetz will issue a FULL REFUND within 10-15 business days post event. If an event changes from in-person to virtual, the difference in fees will be refunded within 10-15 business days post event. If you choose to pay with a credit card, there will be a credit card processing fee of 3% deducted from your total refund. If you choose to pay with a check, there will be no processing fee deducted and you will receive your full total paid. 

 

PAYMENT TERMS FOR THE 2020-2021 SEASON: The registration deadline will remain 30 days prior to the events.

2020-2021 WORKSHOP AND COMPETITION FEES

 

Dance studios may apply their own additional administrative fees. This is quite common in the industry and is used to cover the time and expense Studio Owners incur while organizing, registering and attending these events. Any dancer attending a dance studio MUST be BY the studio.
