Position: Office/Tour Administrator

Streetz Dance Convention & Competition is looking for an experienced, reliable, and task-oriented Office/Tour Administrator to support the CEO/Directors. This position does not require candidate to travel, but will be given the option. The ideal candidate is highly self-motivated, organized, creative, professional, excels at prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment, and will be able to multi-task across multiple disciplines and responsibilities, including, but not limited to the following duties:

Responsibilities include all but not limited to:

  • Provides administrative and clerical support to CEO/Directors

  • Make travel arrangements, such as booking flights, cars, and making hotel reservations       

  • Answers incoming calls and general email inquiries

  • Serves as primary point of contact to customers

  • Assists customers with event registration processes

  • Composes schedules & business letters as requested

  • Prepares welcome packets

  • Processes daily incoming and outgoing mail for office

  • Works with and designs templates for a variety of communications

  • Utilizes research skills to support marketing strategies, programs, customer service inquiries, and internal processes

  • Establishes relationships with potential partners to provide sponsorship opportunities

  • Orders office supplies for the company

  • Assist in making phone calls and setting up appointments as directed

  • Generally pitching in to do whatever is needed to keep Streetz moving forward

 

Requirements:

  • Must live in the Golden Triangle/Southeast Texas area

  • 2+ years of equivalent or relevant work experience

  • Ability to take direction well

  • Proficient in Google Sheets & Microsoft Office

  • Unwavering attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to maintain a professional image and demonstrate sound judgment at all times

  • Ability to maintain absolute confidentiality and discretion

  • Ability to manage numerous tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with limited direction

  • Ability to work well under pressure

  • Ability to multi-task

  • Must be open-minded and have the ability to adapt to fast changing situations

  • Must be a dedicated team player & have a positive attitude

  • Must be creative

  • Must have exceptional written & oral communication skills

  • Must have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Must have seasoned communication and customer service skills

  • Ability to devise and implement processes and process improvements in order to increase daily efficiency and effectiveness

  • Event planning is a plus but not required

  • Knowledge of dance education/training is a plus but not required

Work Environment:

  • Office setting located in Beaumont, TX

Position: TOURING EVENT STAFF

Streetz Dance Convention & Competition is seeking hard working and detail-oriented staff members to tour with us in 2020. This is a touring position for 12 cities across the country. To ensure efficient work, satisfied customers, and a happy and healthy team environment, we need someone who is flexible, organized, personable, eager, passionate, and a great communicator. You must be a team player who always has the good of the whole in mind. This position does not require a dance training background but does require the eagerness to learn, be open minded and work hard. To be considered for this position, candidate must have a flexible schedule to travel from Thursday – Sunday during event weeks.  

Responsibilities include all but not limited to:

  • Setup & breakdown of all production each touring weekend

  • Merchandise sales

  • Registration management

  • Customer service

  • Competition & backstage management

  • Company Assistant Team management

  • Running errands

  • Working collaboratively with other Streetz staff & faculty members to ensure a successful event from beginning to end

  • Pitching in to do whatever it takes to run a successful event for all involved

 

Requirements:

  • Touring experience preferred

  • Sales experience preferred

  • Knowledge of cameras and social media management preferred

  • Attention to detail

  • Customer service experience

  • Ability to remain calm in very high-pressure situations

  • Ability to master new processes and technologies

  • Microsoft office experience

  • Open-minded

  • Production setup and breakdown experience preferred

  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects

  • Flight & travel experience

  • Must live near and have transportation to and from an international airport

  • Clean driving record

  • Prompt and organized

  • Ability to stand for an extensive amount of time

  • Ability to endure long working days/nights

  • Must be 18 or older
