STUDIO ASSISTANT PASSES

In efforts to improve class experience for the dancers, we will not be allowing parent observers into the ballroom for the regional season. Instead, a studio can purchase a Studio Assistant Pass (limit 4 per studio) which may be given to a parent to help monitor your studios dancers in each of our 4 classrooms at an event including Mini, Junior, Teen, and Senior. To add Studio Assistant Passes or if you need more than 4 Studio Assistant Passes please contact our office at info@thestreetzdance.com.

PAYMENT DEADLINE

All registration balances must be paid in full by the payment cut off which is 30 days before the event in order to retain convention and competition spots and secure discounted pricing. Registrations that are not paid one month before the event, risk being removed from the event completely and registrations on the waitlist will take their place.

REGISTRATION

All ages for convention and competition are as of January 1st of the convention year. The above levels are guidelines for the corresponding ages. Each dancer will be issued a wristband that reflects their assigned ballroom for class and gives them access to that room only. Teachers are more than welcome to move dancers to a different level for convention. This can be done by emailing info@thestreetzdance.com about the changes.
In some cities, Teen and Senior levels and Mini and Junior levels may be combined based on attendance.
You may register for Streetz events online through our registration system. You can find it by clicking "Register" at the top right corner of the website or by clicking HERE.
Any studio that registers for a Streetz event 30 prior to the event can take advantage of the discounted rate. However, in order to receive the discounted rate all registrations must be paid in full by the discount rate deadline. This will secure the discounted pricing and that your spots are secure if the event sells out. All deadlines are 30 days prior to the event.
Dancers are not required to compete in order to register for convention. However, dancers are required to be registered for convention in order to compete.
Dancers that attend a studio, but are attending Streetz without the studio must have the studio complete their registration under the studio account prior to the event.
Pre-registration is strongly advised as many of our events normally sell out! In person registration at the events cannot be guaranteed. Registration will be limited and cut-off may occur if quota is reached before the cut-off date.
Once registration for Streetz is submitted, it is agreed that all dancers, teachers, parents and other attendees will not hold Streetz responsible for any injury or loss of property during the event.
Independent registrations are accepted if a dancer is not affiliated with a studio. If a dancer is affiliated with a studio, we highly encourage and prefer dancers to be registered under a studio.

PAYMENT

Streetz accepts checks, credit cards, cashiers checks, and money orders for registration fees 30 days prior to event date. All registration fees being paid after the discount period will be made via credit card, cashiers check, or money order.
All registrations should be paid in full 30 days before the event and any registrations that are unpaid by then will be removed unless Streetz has been contacted.
If paying by check, please send ONE check for fees. Checks should be made payable to Streetz Dance Convention and Competition.
All returned checks will be subject to a $35 fee.
Credit card reimbursements will incur a 3% fee. There is no reimbursement fee for using a check.
All registrations postmarked 30 days prior to the first day of the event, will be able to apply the discounted pricing. If fees are not paid in full 30 days prior, discounted pricing will not be applied.
There are no refunds. Studio credits are available for studios.
Preferred method of payment is paying directly through our online registration system.

DISCOUNTS AND SPECIAL OFFERS

MULTI-CITY DISCOUNT

Discounts are offered to dancers who will be attending more than one city per season.
Discount of 25% off the current rate for each city in the current year after the first attended event. If attending over 5 cities, registration will be free for the rest of the regional tour during that season. Events attended on scholarship will not qualify for multi city until after the first paid event. Please contact info@thestreetzdance.com to apply the multi-city discount to your registration after it is complete.

COLLEGE DISCOUNT

Discounts are offered to current college students with valid college IDs. Dancers must be registered as ONE group with at least one organizer to handle the registration. This can be done by emailing info@thestreetzdance.com with a copy of the front and back of the ID. College discount only good for full 3 day event weekend.

1-4 Dancers (Senior Room ONLY): $160/dancer

5-10 Dancers (Senior Room ONLY): $160/dancer + 1 FREE Coach/Director

11-15 Dancers (Senior Room ONLY): $135/dancer + 2 FREE Coach/Director

16+ Dancers (Senior Room ONLY): $110/dancer + 4 FREE Coach/Director

GENERAL OFFERS

Parents can observe the Streetz Stars room for FREE.
All Studio Owners and teachers can attend all Streetz events for FREE.
Studios bringing 60+ dancers are eligible to receive a complimentary hotel room for two nights at the host hotel. Upon confirmation from Streetz, you will book your hotel room in the hotel block, email the confirmation to info@thestreetzdance.com, then you will be reimbursed for the cost. Streetz will not book the room on your behalf.
Streetz Loyalty Rewards: Are you planning on bringing 30 or more dancers to a Streetz event during the 2024-2025 season or have you registered a minimum of 15 or more dancers for 3 consecutive years? EVENT INFORMATION

Streetz Dance Convention and Competition reserves the right to refuse admittance to or remove anyone who is disruptive, unruly, or displays rude unacceptable behavior-to be determined at the director’s sole discretion.
Video recording and photography devices are permitted during the convention only. ABSOLUTELY no photo or video will be allowed during the competition. Shutter Storm will be providing professional photo and video services for you.
Wristbands are to not be removed for the duration of the weekend including competition. Wristbands lost or removed will have a replacement fee.
When registering your free studio owners or teachers, please be sure to input their information in the registration system and move them to the active box with your dancers and the system will automatically take them off. Teacher must be on staff confirmed by your website.
Streetz does offer a one day workshop option for the three day dance convention events. This option can only be purchased at the event. However, in order to compete in the competition, win scholarships, or enter the battle, you must be registered for the full convention weekend.

STREETZ STARS

Streetz Stars is a great intro into the convention world for dancers ages 5-7! The Streetz Stars will have 30 minute classes on both Saturday and Sunday starting around lunch time. Streetz Stars classes are all about FUN FUN FUN!
Streetz Stars will participate in a performance class and will perform their routine on the main stage before competition starts on Saturday. Streetz will provide a performance shirt that will be given out during class. Please have dancers backstage by the time that is set by the teacher in their performance class ready to dance! (These performance times may vary by city. Please check your cities schedule to get the correct time that your dancer should be backstage for their performance).
Streetz Stars are not eligible to win scholarships.
Streetz Stars can also compete in the competition.
Parents are allowed to observe the Streetz Stars classes, FREE OF CHARGE!

Depending on competition registration, the workshop schedule may vary from city to city. Exact workshop schedules are available from each city one week prior to the event date.

HEALTH AND SAFETY DISCLAIMER

By registering or attending Streetz Dance Convention and Competition, I am fully aware of the risk associated with myself, my child, or my group participating in a dance class or competition at The Streetz Dance Convention and Competition and will listen to instructions from the faculty or teachers. I acknowledge that I currently have adequate insurance coverage for myself, my child, or my group's protection. I realize the rise of injury involved and hereby agree to assume the responsibility of such for said student and further agree to save and hold harmless The Streetz Dance Convention and Competition LLC, its employees, and all others concerned, and to indemnify them against loss.

I jointly and severally hereby forever release, discharge, and acquit The Streetz Dance Convention and Competition LLC from any and all contracts, claims, suits, actions, or liabilities both in law and in equity specifically arising from, relating to or otherwise described as an limited to participation in any dance class including damages or injuries arising from or resulting from participation at a Streetz Dance Convention or Competition. This release shall be binding upon and inure to the benefit of the parties, their successors, assigns, and personal representatives. In Case of an emergency, I give my permission for emergency medical treatment.

I, as dancer, parent, group director, or guardian, agree to hold The Streetz Dance Convention and Competition LLC, and The Streetz faculty and staff harmless for any injury, damage, or loss sustained as a result of participation in any events related to The Streetz Dance Convention or Event. If you have any doubts about your physical abilities, please consult with your physician before participating.

I understand that by registering or attending the Streetz Dance Convention and Competition LLC, they may use any photo or video for promotional purposes.

I have read and shared the policies with my dancers and observers.
