PRE-QUALIFYING COMPETITION

If any group routines are not already pre-qualified for Nationals, there will be a Pre-Qualifying Competition at Nationals. When registering these dances, they will have to be registered TWICE. Once for Pre-Qualifying Competition and once for National Finals Competition. When registering a Pre-Qualifying routine, add the words Pre-Qualifying to the end of the title of the dance.

NATIONAL FINALS COMPETITION

  • Routines that competed during the 2023-2024 Streetz Tour and received a Gold or higher, are qualified for National Finals Competition.

  • If during the 2023-2024 Streetz Tour, a routine received the following awards, that routine gets free National Finals entry: Best of Streetz, Streetz Choice, and Best of *City*.

  • Age is determined by actual age as of January 1st of this year. To reach the average age of the entry, add all of the ages together and divide by the number of dancers in the entry. When averaging ages, always drop the decimal point. For example, if a routine averages to an age of 10.7, you would drop the decimal, therefore, the routine would compete in the Mini category ages 8-10.

  • If you need additional time for your routine, you may purchase up to 3 additional minutes of extra time for any Group, Line, Ext. Line, or Production for $5 per dancer, per additional minute. Please contact our office if you need to purchase additional time.

  • Throughout the week of Nationals, there may be instances where competition and rehearsals may overlap. If your dancer finds themself in this scenario, competition comes first. The dancer would quietly leave rehearsals, go compete their routine, then return back to rehearsals when they can. Each dancer is responsible to learn what they missed.

  • Please visit the Competition Info & Pricing page on the website to read more about the rules and regulations of competition. If you have any questions about the rules of Streetz competition, please contact us at info@thestreetzdance.com.
