What is StreetzX?

Streetz Xperience, StreetzX for short, are the group of 1-day events that mark the beginning of our annual tour. StreetzX events consist of a full day of fun and inspiring classes, a scholarship award ceremony, and a Solo Showcase. 

What to Expect at an Event

At any StreetzX event, there will be 5 classes held throughout the day. These classes are of various styles and may change from event to event. The styles include Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Lyrical, Tap, and more. In these classes, dancers will have the opportunity to learn from the incredible faculty, train in various styles, and grow as an artist.

At the end of classes, there will be a scholarship award ceremony held where dancers will be awarded scholarships if they caught the faculty's eye during their class. Click here to learn more about the different kinds of scholarships we give at all Streetz events.

Following the award ceremony, the Solo Showcase will take place. Read below to learn about that potion of a StreetzX event.

Solo Showcase

The Solo Showcase at the end of the 1-day events is a performance opportunity for dancers to showcase their solo in front of the faculty and receive full critiques from 3 judges. Unlike the competition we hold during our 3-day events, dancers will not receive a score or placement for their routine.  Solo showcase will take place on the carpeted floor inside one of the dance rooms.
